Here is a method that worked on my laptop and it definitely worked on the PC of the guy who taught me this. On Yahoo Answer there is a method experimented and successful taken from the virus removal handbook. It has a few steps, here they are: go to Tools on a Firefox window; there select Adds-On > Extensions Tab; click on the Dogpile toolbar; Choose Uninstall; Restart Firefox and it will complete the work.

For further reading check handbooks on how to remove viruses. You have to know before you panic that Dogpile is not as bad as it looks like. I mean it is a nuisance, but it is not a virus. If you opened your computer to it, and you don’t feel completely uncomfortable with having him around, you may as well forget about him. Anyway, the best way to get Dogpile off your computer is not to let it get installed in the first place.
