Computer Parts And Components Explanation

Definition of a computer:
It is a machine that can store data (information) and structured the deal to the user’s request to produce a desired result. The computer is a tool that automates the operations of any kind in order to facilitate the work, therefore people’s lives.

A computer does nothink about your place: it only assists you and suggests solutions. A computer does nothing without order or by itself: it needs software and orders to operate.  The essential parts of the PC: The tower is the foundation (the heart) of the computer-: thanks to the components that are inside, your orders are interpreted (translated into its language), analyzed (organized), processed and the result is sent to you.  The keyboard is the link (the means of communication) between the user and the computer.The screen is used to represent the image of the result of what you ordered.  The motherboard is the component of the computer that manages and organizes the functioning of all other components and gives the orders, data from the outside.

Indeed, it is the prime contractor for the processor and everything else, so that the process of analysis and response to function properly. Note that the keyboard and mouse are directly connected to the motherboard that redirects the information to the relevant components (CPU, graphics card, sound card …). Different ports on the motherboard:  Ports are the locations of components that are connected to the motherboard.  Ports ISA connectors are used less and will disappear. This is explained by the low speed data transmission.

Ports PCI connectors are widely used by some video cards, sound card, network card, 3D card … This is explained by the good speed of data transmission.  Serial ports (total 2): also called Com1 and Com2, are most often used to connect some mice, modems … USB Port: The port of the future. In this sense it offers exceptional speed and you can connect up to 127 devices in series on each of them.

Processor:  The processor is the component that calculates, processes and interprets information, data sent by the motherboard (after orders from the user).  He treats the interpreter and retransforms so that we can use (in the form of images: dialog boxes, windows …), always through the motherboard. There are basically (for individuals) 2 brands of processors: Intel and AMD.  The two brands of processors:

Mark “Intel” and with PENTIUM CELERON
Brand “AMD” with two K6, K6 and Athlon 3. Every six months, a new processor comes on the market due to very fierce competition between these two brands and consumer applications requiring still more power. The graphics card or video card: This is the component that handles all information regarding the display and sends the result on the screen through an analog signal. This component is crucial in terms of speed and quality of the display (color depth, resolution ….).
