As the thinnest monitor in the world, the side profile is amazingly thin for a wide screen monitor, which brings more of magazine cover. The corners and edges which were cut with diamonds, are giving a fluency air which is balancing the fine lines. The rest of the thin case is displaying a shiny black which is pointing subtle to the attention.

Creative application of the wall framing system. LS221H allows you to put it on the wall. Pressing the side button LS221H can be adjusted in order to allow the assembly on the VESA systems, which puts in value the aesthetics from multiple angles.

The glass surface is scratch protected by the 9H specific hardness (similar with the sapphire) against the default monitors with 2H hardness. The five illuminating effects (blue / red / orange / pink / green) are evoking the power of emotional ambiance offered by each of the Splendid Video modes. This function is offering a superb illumination which helps preventing tired eyes.

Inside beauty for bright and alive images. Fast response time – with the Trace Free technology offering a fast 2 ms response time, you will be able to enjoy the real excellent image clarity, with a high clarity without ghosting effects, extremely useful in running fast action shooters.

Impressive contrast ratio – using the ASCR (ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio) technology, LS221H has a contrast rate of only 4000:1 for an amazing dynamic contrast between black and white, offering clear and bright images with an extreme definition.

High Definition entertainment with the HDMI input – when you render movies from High Definition sources, the HDMI port is transferring the information in digital format, without loosing the perfection of the high definition image, either it is about movies or holiday memories.

It displays 4:3 content perfectly on the wide screen. The “Aspect Control” function allows you to select the display mode between full screen and 4:3 mode, which allows you to watch movies and older games without image distortion.
